• Dr. (Major) Rakesh Shetty is an Ex-Indian Army doctor whose medical practice is deeply rooted in the values of discipline, integrity, and service. He completed his post-graduation in Ophthalmology from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, and subsequently pursued a fellowship in Comprehensive Ophthalmology at HV Desai Eye Care Institute, Pune.
  Trained in a demanding military medical environment, Dr. Rakesh Shetty brings a structured, patient-centric, and ethically driven approach to clinical care. He has extensive experience in anterior segment surgeries, including small incision cataract surgery (SICS), phacoemulsification, pterygium excision, and the surgical management of ocular trauma. His experience also extends to refractive surgery, including LASIK, PRK, and phakic intraocular lens (IOL) implantation.
