She has attended conferences related vision therapy and orthoptics. She was earlier associated as a clinical optometrist at advanced eye hospital vashi Navi Mumbai and nair eye hospital new Panvel Navi Mumbai. Ms Mhatre currently working as clinical and pediatric optometrist at Laxmi Eye Institute since September 2022
